153 Candidates for Alumni of FEB UMS Receive Debriefing in the Debriefing and Release of Prospective Alumni Period 2 of 2022/2023

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (FEB UMS) held a debriefing as well as the release of prospective UMS FEB alumni at the Mohammad Djazman Auditorium UMS, Thursday (15/12)

This activity is intended for prospective UMS graduates period 2 of 2022/2023 which will be held on December 24 at the Edutorium K.H. Ahmad Dahlan UMS.

Dean of FEB UMS Prof. Dr. Anton Agus Setyawan, S.E., M.Sc. said that the debriefing and release of FEB UMS alumni candidates was part of the academic process.

“This activity is part of the graduation procession and part of the academic process,” said Prof. Anton.

He also hopes that graduates from FEB UMS can make the name of the faculty and UMS proud, where they forge knowledge.

“My hope for the prospective graduates is that they will be successful in pursuing their life after college and in their careers, both as professionals and prospective academics. And the hope is that they can also make FEB UMS proud in particular and also UMS in general. Then they will become proud alumni,” hoped the Dean of FEB UMS.

Deputy Dean 1 of FEB UMS Dr., Muzakar Isa, S.E., M.Sc., in reporting on the academic field said that graduation for this period was a rare event. This is because most of the graduates are male.

“This is the first time that FEB graduates are dominated by men compared to women,” said Isa.

The total number of prospective graduates is 153, consisting of 77 males and 76 females, and 19 prospective alumni graduated with cum laude predicate.

Alumni of the FEB UMS Development Economics study program as well as holders of several companies such as PT. Bosstania Land (Atlantis Group), namely Totok Ulan, S.E this time gave messages and provisions to prospective graduates. He advised them to continue to respect teachers, lecturers, or mentors even though they have graduated
