ICOEBS International Conference: FEB UMS Raising Green Business Issues

SURAKARTA-Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS), raised the issue of Green Business in the International Conference on Economic and Business Study (ICOEBS) in the Ball Room of The Alana Hotel, Tuesday (6/12)

FEB UMS again held the fourth ICOEBS with the theme “Green Business in Emerging Economies: Current Issues and Future Challenges”

ICOEBS organizers invited Rangga Handika, Ph.D, from Tokyo International University and Dr., Salut Muhidin, Senior Lecturer at Macquare University Australia, as keynote speakers at this conference.

Ikhwan Susila, Ph.D, Deputy Chancellor 3 for Student Affairs at UMS in his remarks expressed his appreciation for the participants’ hard work in completing papers and research so that they could be presented at an international conference, ICOEBS.

The Ikhwan also said that at this conference they raised a very important issue regarding Green Business.

“As we know, the world community is discussing how to protect the earth, maintain the sustainability of the company towards the environment,” said Ikhwan Susila.

According to him, there are many opportunities to develop good products and create a good environment.

He also hopes that this conference can be a place for exchanging ideas, and can provide benefits to many people.

Kusuma Wijayanto as Chair of the ICOEBS Committee said that this activity was attended by 137 participants and one of the participants who took part online came from Nigeria.
