Surakarta – On Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Swiss Ballroom Bellin Saripetojo Surakarta, the UMS Faculty of Economics and Business, in partnership with the Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Education Faculty of Economics and Business Association (AFEB PTMA), held the 2022 MUHAMMADIYAH ECONOMS SYMPOSIUM: GIFTS FOR THE NATIONAL SOCIETY.
Several Muhammadiyah Economists attended the event, which was held to liven up the 48th Muktamar Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah in Surakarta on November 18–20, 2022.
The gathering also featured other Muhammadiyah economists, such as Prof. Dr. Bambang Setiaji, Sutrisno Bachir, and Ir. Happy Trenggono, Prof. Edy Suandi Hamid, Fadhil Hasan, and other more are mentioned.
The Muhammadiyah economist symposium that was held this time suggested two key issues, namely: internal organizational issues with the main theme: “Exploring and Strengthening Organizational Economic Potential: Between Ideals, Facts, and Solutions” and external organizational issues with the main theme: “Unraveling Problems and Solutions Nation’s Economy.”
